This represents an increase of <strong>15.6%<\/strong> in the <u>number of building permits<\/u>, an increase of <strong>12.0%<\/strong> in <u>surface area<\/u>, and a decrease of 3.0% in volume compared to the corresponding month of 2023.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1231\" data-end=\"1702\">Over the past twelve months, from January 2024 to December 2024, the total Building Activity (Private \u2013 Public), based on issued building permits nationwide, reached 30,992 building permits, corresponding to 7,283,503 m\u00b2 of surface area and 31,997,772 m\u00b3 of volume. Compared to the corresponding period of January \u2013 December 2023, there was an increase of <strong>14.9% in the number of building permits<\/strong>, an increase of <strong>16.8% in surface area<\/strong>, and an <strong>increase of 9.7% in volume<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1704\" data-end=\"2093\">During the same period, January \u2013 December 2024, Private Building Activity nationwide recorded an increase of 14.9% in the number of issued building permits, an increase of 16.5% in surface area, and an increase of 8.7% in volume compared to the corresponding period of January \u2013 December 2023.
